Training in small groups provides camaraderie and gives you the opportunity to feed off others and enjoy a social aspect.
Secondly, training with others increases your motivation and provides friendly competition. Tackling the session together as a team rather than in isolation.
During a small group session, the coach will be able to provide high quality personal attention to each individual to ensure you perform each exercise with good technique, helping you avoid injury and working effectively.
Lastly, it is a cost effective way of training!
